ISABS Kolkata Region started in 1991 with one Professional Member, one PDP Intern, and a few enthusiastic Basic Laboratory in Human Process (BLHP) alumni! Today we have seven Professional Members (Paul Siromoni, Sanjib Basu, Sukhvinder Sircar, Madhukar Shukla, Kakoli Saha, K. K. Jha, and Snigdha Pattnaik), and very many PDP, BLHP, Advanced LHP participants, and Associate Members. We have been organising BLHP and ALHP programmes since 1991 once or twice a year for almost all the 15 years since we started work, besides special laboratories and workshops. Programmes have been held in Kolkata, as well as Durgapur, Jamshedpur, and Bhubaneswar. We have also undertaken in-house consultancy and training assignments. Currently, the management team comprises the following members: Paul Siromoni (Regional Representative), Sharbari Saha (Hony. Secretary), D. P. Dash and Subhashree Chander (Hony. Coordinators - Programmes), and Vijay Aggarwal (Hony. Treasurer).
